Amulet Hotkey (AHK) Announce an Agreement with Avocent Corporation to License Certain Digital Desktop Technology

UNITED KINGDOM, March 31, 2006 

Amulet Hotkey (AHK) today announced an agreement with Avocent Corporation (NASDAQ: AVCT) to license certain Digital Desktop technology extension products from Avocent. Effective April 3rd 2006 Amulet Hotkey will be taking over the manufacturing, sales and distribution of the Digital Desktop product range.

Amulet Hotkey intends to use this exciting opportunity to promote the latest Digital Desktop products to its clients and their suppliers, offering their own unique experience of KVM extension in the trading room environment. Clients are pleased that this key product will become a mainstream part of the Amulet portfolio.

The Digital Desktop products extend the PCs PCI bus over Cat6 cable to provide a digital alternative to traditional analogue KVM extension.

Amulet Hotkey have established a strong presence in trading room technology, and as providers of turnkey solutions for Reuters Dealing 3000, have a presence in almost every trading institution globally. Avocent’s Digital Extension products form a central component in many of Amulet Hotkey’s current solutions. Through several years of close partnership the two companies have concluded that Amulet Hotkey is better placed to realize the full potential of this unique technology.

Amulet Hotkey have been working with the team at Avocent to ensure minimum impact on both the installed base and existing resellers and look forward to supporting and working with them in the future.
