System sizes
The structure, type and size of the VideoSwitch System depends on the number of connected sources and users. The size of the system can vary from about 8 sources, available by 8 users up to more than 250 sources by 500 users.

Video Switch System
Usually the sources such as Dealing, EBS, TV are located in cabinets in the system room. Keyboard, mouse, video and audio links are connected to the Video Switch System. At the desk only one WEY keyboard with a mouse and depending of the environment one or more monitors are installed. The signals (Audio/Video/Data) from the Switch System are transmitted via the in-house cabling to the receiver equipment at the desk.

Access rights
Services can be shared, dedicated or slaved to the users. While sharing a service, licences can be reduced to greatly save costs. When a service is not allowed to be shared, it can be dedicated only to a defined user. With a slaved access the user is able to view only a service. This is useful for services like TV, Charts, Information Distribution, etc.

Free seating concept
With the free seating concept the users can log on to the Video Switch from any desk where a WEY keyboard with connection to the Video Switch System is installed. This will greatly reduce your costs for the relocation of users.

Heat reduction
As the source PCs usually are located in an air conditioned system room you can also save costs by reducing the dimension of the air condition in the trading floor.
