EK2000 Light Modular Keyboard

Control up to 4 Workstations with one single keyboard and mouse. Keyboards can be linked together in order to share Workstations between two users. Keypads and other modules can be added to customize keyboard.

Features

Select PC or Service
Only one keystroke is necessary to select one of the local workstation. The active workstation is indicated by LEDs.

Share workstations
Two keyboards linked together allow sharing several workstations between two or more users. Status of the shared workstation is indicated by LEDs when it is in use.

Extended sharing
With a WEY Deskswitch KMVA 4x4/8x8, up to 8 workstations can be linked together resp. shared by 8 users. Video signal of connected workstations is distributed to each desk.

Audio
Audio signal from the workstations can be routed to 2 integrated speakers or to external speakers (connected to keyboard).

Modules
Keyboard’s functionality can be enlarged by several accessories like keypads, Video Deskswitches, etc.  Keys on the keypads are programmable with macros or specific hot key functions by external software.

Sharing

Two users can share their workstations by linking keyboards together. Each user can control his dedicated workstation and – provided it is not in use – a shared PC resp. services of another user. In conjunction with a WEY Microsystem or Deskswitch KMVA you can share a max. of 8 workstations by a group of 8 users.

Extended functionality

WEY provides a wide range of accessories to extend the number of applications the keyboard can deal with. You can also combine the keyboard with a local Video  Deskswitch in order to reduce the number of screens on your desk. Thanks to the keyboard’s open architecture, keys can be customised individually for special purposes and emulations. Keypads are available to support certain applications from market data providers.

Configuration

Keyboard can be configured by using external software for individual settings.
