Advantages
EK2000 Keyboard enables you to control up to 6 workstations with one sole keyboard and mouse. Wide range of keyboard types supported: PS2, USB, Bloomberg, SUN etc.. Application licences and Workstations can be shared between two or even more keyboards. Functionality of the WEY Keyboard can be extended with accessories such as a Video Deskswitch or Video Distributor in order to control the handling of video signals from your workstations to the monitors.

Share workstations
Two keyboards linked together allow sharing several  workstations between
two users.

Extended sharing
With a WEY Microsystem or Deskswitch KMVA 4x4/8x8, up to 8 workstations can be linked together resp. shared by 8 users. Video signal of connected workstations is
distributed to each desk.

Audio
Audio signal from the workstations can be routed to 2 integrated speakers or to external speakers (connected to keyboard).

Modules
Keyboard’s functionality can be enlarged by several accessories like keypads, Video Deskswitches, etc.

Sharing
Two users can share their workstations by linking keyboards together. Each user can control his dedicated workstation and provided it is not in use, a shared PC (e.g. Reuters Dealing) resp. services of another user. In conjunction with a WEY Microsystem you can share a max. of 8 workstations.

Extended functionality
WEY provides a wide range of accessories to extend the number of applications the keyboard can deal with. You can also combine the keyboard with a local Video Deskswitch in order to reduce the number of screens on your desk. Thanks to the keyboard’s open architecture, keys can be customised individually for special purposes and emulations.

Pooling System
In combination with a WEY Pooling System you can select further dedicated, slaved or shared services located in the System room. Keyboard-, mouse-, video- and audio
links are connected to the Pooling System, where you can select required services.

Connector Box
Keyboard-, mouse- and audio links are connected to a central point - the Connector Box. There are PS/2, USB and serial interfaces to support different types of
devices. Keyboard settings can be saved in Connector box. Setup can be uploaded from Connector box, if a keyboard is damaged.
