Advantages
With the multifunctional Keyboard "WEY RAY 06" you are able to control directly up to 6* workstations from one single keyboard and mouse. A wide range of keyboard types such as standard PS2, USB, Reuters Dealing, EBS, SUN etc. are supported. Workstations and application licences can be shared between two or even more keyboards. Functionality of the WEY Keyboard can be extended with accessories such as a Video Deskswitch or Video Distributor to control the video signals displayed on
monitors at the desk. In conjunction with a WEY Video Switch System you can select and control numerous dedicated, slaved or shared services (Dealing, EBS, TV etc.).

Programmable function keys
Keyboard has 24 function keys that can be individually programmed. An integrated LCD display shows the corresponding legend of the function keys. Keys can be programmed to send commands, key codes or strings.
Modules
The keyboard’s functionality can be extended by several available accessories such as keypads, video desk switches, etc.
Connector Box
The Workstation’s keyboard, mouse and audio links are connected to a central point: The Connector Box. Connector Box has PS/2, USB and serial interfaces to support different types of devices. Settings of the keyboard can be saved in Connector Box. In case a keyboard is damaged, setup can easily be uploaded from the Connector Box.
Sharing
By linking two keyboards together, you can share workstations between two users. User can control his dedicated workstation or a shared PC like e.g. Reuters Dealing, that is not in use by someone else. In conjunction with a WEY Microsystem it’s possible to extend the sharing possibility to a maximum of 8 keyboards.
Extended functionality
WEY provides a wide range of accessories to extend the range of application the keyboard can handle. Video Deskswitches for example manage the Video signals of your
Workstation and reduce the number of screens at your desk. The keyboard’s open architecture enables you to customise its keys individually for special purposes and
emulations.
Video Switch System
In conjunction with a WEY Video Switch System you can use further dedicated, slaved or shared services such as Dealing, EBS, TV etc.. Services resp. PCs are located in a
system room. Keyboard, mouse, videoand audio links are connected to the Video Switch System. With the free seating concept, users can logon to the system from any
desk where a WEY Keyboard and Videoswitch connection is installed. User's service access rights (e.g. view only, shared or dedicated access) are defined in the user profile.
