With the Fibre Remote III solution it is possible to remote a PC with dual video outputs via one fibre optic cable.

Data links with the following interfaces can be remoted: The transmitter accepts analogue (DVI-A) or digital (DVI-D) video signals. The receiver output is always digital.

Remoted links are transmitted over fibre optic cable.
Distances up to 4km are possible with the Fibre Remote III. Even longer distances can be realized using repeaters.

Transmitter for TwP Video Switches
The Fibre Remote TwP transmitter converts the TwP output signals from the WEY Allocation System into fibre optic transmission. Cabling system The use of single or multi-mode fibre optic cables between transmitter and receiver ensures high picture quality and allows for the transmission of two high resolution video signals over distances up to 4km or more. The PC’s data (USB, serial) and audio signals are transmitted together with the video over one single-mode or two multi-mode fibres. Compared with twisted pair cable, one of the most significant benefits of fibre optic transmission is that signals do not require amplification and adjustment. Due to the bandwidth available at the speed of light, video signals are transmitted without compression and in full colour depth, resulting in crystal clear images at the screen. Even pictures at the highest resolution are transmitted in real time, resulting in minimal latency. Moves, adds, changes With PCs located in the system room and the modularity of the transmission lines, moves, adds and changes are easy and efficient. Users can change desks without having
to move PCs from one workplace to another. Simply re-patch the fibre connection between the transmitter in the system room and the receiver at the appropriate desk. Space saving modules The Fibre Remote III is available in EURO card format for installation in chassis. Multiple chassis are available, with or without redundant PSUs, and in different sizes and shapes. Customized solutions can be developed and produced upon request. At the desk, chassis supporting the Fibre Remote III Receiver are very compact in size, keeping the desk footprint down to an absolute minimum. Clever solutions have already been developed and implemented in partnership with innovative furniture suppliers. |
