Transmission
Distances up to 200m between computer and desk can be achieved. Remote links are transmitted over standard twisted pair cable.
Audio and interface
The SPTx® solution provides a bidirectional stereo channel with bandwidth up to 4.5 kHz, and 2 serial interface links accepting data speeds up to 20 kbps.

The SPTx® is available in a standalone housing unit with an external power supply. Cabling system
The use of CAT6 (or higher) shielded or unshielded twisted pair cable for signal transmission between the transmitter and receiver ensures a high picture quality.
The PC’s data (serial, USB 1.1) and stereo audio signals are transmitted together with the video over one twisted pair cable. Compensation of cable loss
During transmission, the quality of the signal decreases according to the length and characteristics of the cable.
Attenuation
Attenuation results from impedance characteristics (capacitive, inductive and resistive) of cable. It is visible as a blurred picture on the monitor. Compensation

The SPTx®Remote is available s a rack module for installation in a chassis.
Different chassis models (also with redundant PSU) in different sizes and shapes are available. Customized solutions can be developed and produced upon request.
At the desk, chassis supporting the SPTx® Remote receiver are very compact in size, keeping the desk footprint down to an absolute minimum. Clever solutions have already been developed and implemented in partnership with innovative furniture suppliers.
